The James Webb Space Telescope has been delivering stunning imagery of the universe with it's high resolution, highly sensitive equipment. An array of 18 primary mirrors and a secondary mirror focuses the light from the cosmos onto the telescope in the center.
These JWST earrings depict the telescope and primary mirror array, backed onto a black backing plate, all laser cut and assembled in black acrylic, gold mirror acrylic and a thin black plastic respectively.
The main component measures 4cm in height and hangs from a black earring topper.
The earrings posts are surgical steel and are paired with comfort clutch earring nuts.
I saw a vision of these earrings at a museum store, but was not able to purchase at the time. I therefore went online and found Oh Pluto, and their earrings are MUCH more accurate to the true James Webb Telescope, and are larger and more spectacular than any of the ones sold in museums. Shipping was cheap and VERY quick. A bargain, and a delight!! HIGHLY recommended. I bought and gave to my wife for Mother's Day in the U.S..
