Polypores, also known as shelf fungi, form large fruiting bodies called conks. They are often found growing on trees or dead wood.
These polypore earrings are beautifully unique! They are comprised of two beautiful sparkle swirl acrylics, a brown and green, with handpainted detailing.
The fungi are layered on top of the tree trunk for a 3 dimensional effect.
The dangles measure 50mm in height and dangle from acrylic leaf toppers.
The earrings posts are surgical steel and are paired with comfort clutch earring nuts.

These fungi earrings were one of several pairs I shortlisted for my son to buy me for my birthday to add to my growing collection of OhPluto nature-themed jewellery. So thrilled he chose them.
They are even more spectacular in real life with the subtly glittery and swirly acrylics. The 3D effect is uncanny - the earrings are flatter and easier to wear than they appear, nothing sticking out at an angle, it’s all an illusion.
Great conversation starters for my job with native plants and really solid, lightweight construction.
