Recycled Acrylic Earrings 'Sunset Reef' Collection. Pair 4
These one-of-a-kind earrings are handmade from recycled plastic. Acrylic waste scraps are diverted from landfill and melt-pressed in-house to create stunning, unique and guilt free wearable art.
You will receive the exact pair of earrings as shown in the first image.
These earrings feature a pair of long drop earrings, measuring 60mm high and hanging from stainless steel toppers.
This 'Sunset Reef' collection is cut from a sheet pressed using a combination of green, pink and golden swirly acrylics. This melt pressed sheet has generated a limited ~17 pairs of earrings. See all other earrings from this collection here.
All metal earring components are stainless steel.
The second image shows an example of the earrings being worn for sizing purposes.
These earrings are comprised of ~80% recovered plastic. A thin film of clear acrylic has been used in the sheet for added consistency and integrity.
Due to the nature of the recycling process there may be small defects in the surface and edges of the acrylic pieces, as well as a variability in the acrylic thickness.

About the Recycled Acrylic Collection
These recycled acrylic pieces are produced entirely from assorted acrylic scraps and offcuts. The acrylic is melt pressed together to produce beautifully unique acrylic sheets, which are then laser cut into small batch jewellery collections. Find out more about the recycling process.
