This sedimentary rock necklace is made from 6 different layers of beautifully textured acrylics.
Sedimentary rocks are formed by the accumulation or deposition of mineral or organic particles at the Earth's surface over a very long period of time. Sedimentary rocks often have distinctive layering and can contain fossils, making them important for understanding Earth's history.
Three fossils have been laser engraved and handpainted in the surface of the acrylic, and the layers are secured onto a clear acrylic backing.
The pendant measures 6cm long by 2.2cm wide, and hangs from a stainless steel chain with lobster clasp and extender.
The chain supplied will be 20 inches in length but you can contact me if you'd this modified.
