Streak Plate Earrings in Acrylic
$24.00 AUD
The streak plate method is used in microbiology to isolate a pure strain of microorganism from a mixture. A sample is 'streaked' across an agar plate and isolated colonies of a microorganism can then grow, and be extracted for further study or use.
The streaking effect is achieved by laser engraving and paint-filling on a disc of frosted acrylic. The acrylic discs measure 3.5cm in diameter and hang from black earring toppers.
The earring posts are surgical steel and are paired with comfort clutch earring nuts.
