Considered to be the toughest creatures on Earth, the microscopic Tardigrade (also known as water bears or moss piglets) can survive in the most extreme environments, even outer space! Disturbingly cute, they sport 8 adorable legs and a pig-like snout (which is actually their mouth). Definitely a cool little microbeast!
This acrylic tardigrade brooch is laser cut from a swirly/glittery apple green acrylic. It has a 3 dimensional feel, with a raised snout and legs, all hand-painted and individually attached to the body. Truly a labour of love!
The Tardigrade measures 5.5cm (2.2 inches) in height.
The brooch has a stainless steel brooch pin with a locking clasp for added security.
