These earrings represent the two Golden Records sent out on the Voyager probes in 1977.
The earrings are laser cut from gold toned mirror acrylic, with engraved details showing the record cover diagram.
The discs measure 35mm in diameter and hang from matching acrylic toppers.
The earrings posts are surgical steel and are paired with comfort clutch earring nuts.

These are just *stunning* - admittedly; I am an utter nerd when it comes to Space and know the full significance of these earrings. They are copies of the 'Golden Record' which makes up part of the 'Voyager' probes (or Vgr probe for all the Star Trek fans out there!). And come November - they will make up part of the man made object that is the furthest from earth in ever existing. One light day - which is pretty much mind boggling. While these earrings won't be going 'that far' - I am looking forward to wearing them.
