Protons consist of two up quarks and a down quark.
Neutrons consist of two down quarks and one up quark.

Cute and colourful up and down quarks are laser cut from coloured acrylic, mounted onto clear acrylic discs, and hang from black earrings toppers. Fine details are laser engraved and handpainted.

The earring posts are surgical steel and are paired with comfort clutch earring nuts.
